AMGA Group BreedPlanHow To Fill Out The Forms |
In order
to generate the best possible EPDs on our Murray Grey cattle, the AMGA has
joined
with the other Murray Grey registries around the world to develop the very
first world wide
performance data base. Through this system, you can offer your buyers the
best quality
EPDs in the industry.
And maybe more importantly, you can use the Group BreedPlan EPDs to make culling,
selection and breeding decisions within your herd, to develop the most efficient
cattle possible.
AMGA is
pleased to be able to offer this online training to help you learn how to
properly fill out the forms.
This tutorial
is set up in 4 sections, corresponding to the 4 steps in the annual Group
BreedPlan data gathering system. Section 1 discusses the Dam Inventory and
Breeding
Worksheet. Section 2 discusses the Registration for Application form. The
next section walks
you
through the Birth Report and Weaning Worksheet. The 4th and last section shows
you
how to fill out the Yearling Report.
We strongly
suggest that you go through this training in the step by step sequence from
Dam Inventory through Yearling Report. You can, however,use the navigation
buttons above
to reach any
ofthe 4 sections,in the event that you cannot do all 4 sections at one time.

"Back" button on your browser to go backward.
We suggest
that you take some time to do this tutorial, especially if you are new to
the system,
